If you haven’t read that post then I suggest that you have a quick suss, here.
Anyway, a quick recap, if you don’t want to read it, is Ayla and I went to a Sarah’s Sister’s Sustainable Cafe and it was absolutely incredible – the food was amazing. Afterward, we went into the city to look around the Styled Markets and watch Sustainable Clothing Co.’s fashion which we ended up missing.
Throughout the day we both made a few purchases and I thought it would be fun to share mine with you.
Let’s start with the markets…
My first purchase was from Grandpa Thief and it was a scrunchie and shirt combo. I absolutely love this shirt. It’s super comfy and the fact that I have a matching scrunchie makes me feel put together.
I then purchased some country road sandals. When I saw these I pretty much made an impulse buy. I shouldn’t of as they’re a size too small. I’m a 39 and these are a 38. I’m going to sell them on Depop.
Walking outside I came across Terra Earthenware and instantly fell in love with the clay earrings. They’re unique and super cool. I knew then and there that I wanted to have my own pair. They’re a staple.
The last purchase I made was a black leather bag. I’d walked past it a few times but then I happened to notice it. It’s just a simple black bag. The only downside is that it’s leather as I’m not one to support the leather industry but at least the silver lining is that it is second hand.
After looking through the markets we headed to Rundle Mall where I made multiple purchases at Lush.
I’d run out of my previous bars and wanted to try some new ones. After talking to a lady who was working there I settled on the Honey I Washed My Hair shampoo bar and the Jungle conditioner bar. I’ve used them a few times and I absolutely this combo!
And there you have it… While I made multiple purchases I’d like to believe that they’re sustainable and eco-friendly purchases.
