March has already begun, and I’m still let wondering where February went. March is always a busy month for me, and I mean both the words always and busy.
I had hoped to have had this post written and published by the beginning of March, but well, that didn’t happen. Now, I’m back at university, starting my third year, and I’m already starting to feel overwhelmed.
So, instead of doing university work and settling in I’m writing this post and procrastinating (but then again, what’s new?).
Essentially, there’s a lot of things going on in my life and I’ve decided to start setting monthly goals to keep myself accountable in all aspects of life. So, here are my goals for March:
My 7 goals for March 2021
1. Start reading again
Not only do I need to read for several of my university classes, but I also want to finish reading the Tweed & Co. series written by Colin Forbes and some other books that are on my list. I’m currently roughly a quarter way through the third book, Cover Story.
2. Create a morning routine
Since I’m no longer living at home my mornings have been all over the place. I’ve never really stuck to a routine, but I would like to wake up earlier and start exercising again.
3. Hike more
I’d like to go hiking whenever I can. I’m closer to multiple conservation parks, which definitely makes this handy, and I’ve also purchased new hiking boots. I aim to hike the Yurrebilla trail by the end of this year. It’s a long term goal of mine, and I’m excited to build up my hiking experience. I’ll be sure to share some of the hikes I do here.
4. Bike & run more
While I want to hike more, I also want to get into running and biking as well. There are plenty of streets to explore, so, I’m really excited to get into it.
5. Study hard
I really want to do well this year. So, I’m going to make sure I do. I’m going to keep my head down and study to build up my studying routine. I’m hoping that by figuring out my routines early, I’ll be able to get ahead which will hopefully lead to a less stressful semester.
6. Blog more
Like always, I hope to blog more. I keep saying this whenever I write a goals post, but it’s true. I have so many ideas, but I never follow through with them, so, I’m hoping to change that and publish a minimum of five posts per month this year.
7. To be proud of myself and everything I do
I want to be proud of who I am, what I do, and what I accomplish. I quite often feel like I have imposter syndrome and I almost never feel accomplished. I want to be proud of myself. I think we should all be proud of ourselves and the things we achieve.
Well, there’s my goals for March. What are yours?
It’s so refreshing to see someone else’s goals and it really seems to put life into perspective – that you really aren’t the only one struggling a little, hoping and wishing a little, trying to be better. I love your last goal, and I really, really hope you tick that one off your list by the end of the month!
I find realistic goals always puts things into perspective, which is always needed. Everyone is battling their own journey and making their way through life with their own struggles – some of those we can relate and connect with and others we cannot. I’m still trying with that last goal, I’ve realised it was a little harder than what I had hoped it to be. I’m definitely becoming more comfortable with myself and the things I do, so, it’s a small win for now.
