Before I restarted my blog, I had shared a post called Revisiting my Becoming Better, and this post is just an updated version of that. So, yet again, I’m revisiting becoming better. The idea of becoming better excites me, but yet I always struggle to follow through.
I’m normally someone who goes all out, and then when things don’t happen, I give up. It’s not the best mindset, and I’m learning to focus on the journey, rather than the outcome I want. I’m focusing on setting small goals that I can achieve and then slowly building up to my larger goals.
So, here we are, rewriting this post with determination to succeed. In reality, writing and publishing this post is my first goal into becoming better.
But what exactly is becoming better?
To put it simply, Becoming Better is my self-development journey. Essentially, I want to become a better person, hence becoming better. I plan on focusing on all aspects of my life, and improving them as best as I can.
It’s a ‘glow up’ that goes beyond appearance.
I’ll be creating better habits, building routines, and overall improving my life. I’m trying t re-haul my life, and create something sustainable rather than resorting to a quick fix.
It’s about challenging myself.
It’s about being my OWN goals.
It’s about improving myself for myself.
And I’ll be documenting my processes, attempts, fails, and successes with you. I’ll be holding myself accountable. Every post relating to Becoming Better can and will be found here. I also plan on documenting my journey through YouTube. You can find my channel here.
My aim is to create a life where I’m constantly learning and improving skills. I want to become better: stronger, healthier fitter, happier, as well as living a more sustainable and slow life.
I also want to share what I get up to, in case you also want to have a go at becoming better, after all, it is a self-development journey tailored to the needs of the person undertaking it.
Over the coming months I plan on uploading content that will help you if you choose to become better too.
We’re in it together, so, let’s become the best version of ourselves.1
